This tournament is a qualifying event within a circuit of 9 Regional Events of the World Amateur Golfers Championship Spain, which forms part of a World Tour with the opportunity to qualify and represent Spain at the World Final in Malaysia in October 2026.

The circuit is played across 5 handicap categories. The top two players in each category will qualify for the Andalucía Regional Final, which will take place on August 14th at Cabopino Golf (Marbella), with the aim of becoming one of the four finalists in their category for the National Grand Final at Retamares Golf Club on September 4th and 5th.

The ultimate prize will be the opportunity to represent Spain at the World Final in Johor Bahru (Malaysia) at the end of October 2026.
